Tell me more about the role

As a Key Account Manager, you'll be the primary liaison between the company and key retail clients, ensuring that all customer metrics and service levels are met and exceeded. You will manage a portfolio of strategic retailer accounts, acting as the go-to contact for resolving account-specific issues. Expect to communicate daily with retailers to understand their evolving needs and align strategies to achieve business goals. You'll be responsible for analysing sales data, customer KPIs, and market trends, using this information to implement strategies that drive growth. You will also lead contract negotiations, review supplier agreements, and provide commercial recommendations to senior leadership. In this role, your ability to build and sustain strong relationships will be key to maximizing both customer satisfaction and revenue.

What Experience Do I Need?

  • Previous experience in account management within the FMCG or food industry, ideally on a multinational scale.
  • A strong ability to analyse data metrics and interpret market trends, helping you make informed commercial decisions.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing supplier and customer contracts.
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
