About Our Client:-
We are working with a very progressive, innovative and long established Fresh Produce business who have an opportunity for a German speaking Account Manager to join their business. They have a long standing relationship with Aldi UK and are now in the process of growing their business in Germany with Aldi Süd. This is a great chance to join the business and be instrumental in the growth of this new account.

About the Job:-
You will be working very closely with the Senior Commercial team who have been spearheading the development of this relationship. You will act as the Key point of contact for the business with Aldi. A lot of the interactions will be virtual but you will be required to travel between Essen, Rotterdam (location of their packing facility) and the UK (their Head Office). As a result of this, your physical location is less important as there is a lot of flexibility to make it work.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You will need to be fluent in German, whether that is as a Native or having learnt it. Experience in the fresh food industry would clearly be an advantage but experience of working with European Retailers (preferably Aldi Süd) is crucial. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to work well independently given the nature of the distances involved in the overall process.
