About Our Client

We are currently recruiting for a business with a strong history within their sector, with over 30 years within their market. The business has a strong and stable customer base, they have worked incredibly hard over the years to build a strong relationship with a very credible retailer. They are also a business that wants to grow and diversify, so a lot of vision and passion in the pipeline.

About the Role

As a new role within the business, the successful individual will be working closely with both the Commerical and Operation teams. Liaising with these departments you will make sure that the movement of products into and around the UK, is running effectively and efficiently. Along with the movement of the products into the UK, you will handle the required paperwork to ensure customs clearance, etc.

The Ideal Candidate

If you have experience with Logistics, Supply Chain, or Importing, then this will be ideal. If you do have experience, then ideally you will have experience with handling fast-moving goods, as the products this business work with, have an incredibly short shelf-life and so as you can If not, then not to worry, but you will need to be willing to learn and develop in this area. If you are still starting your career, a degree in a relevant course would be a great starting point and a true passion in this area is needed.
