About the Role
This role is all about supporting the commercial team to ensure the details are all covered. You will support the commercial team to ensure paperwork is kept up to date, contracts have been signed, orders are being processes etc. You will be the link between the commercial teams and operations/logistics as well as 3PL providers. Day-to-day you will ensure that orders are being processed smoothly and passed onto the relevant internal departments. You will manage the relationship with 3PL providers and relevant warehousing and logistical elements to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a background in dealing with 3PL providers within a similar logistics role. You will be very organised and will be comfortable using complex Excel spreadsheets and other tools to ensure projects run smoothly. Ideally, you will have a background in a fast-paced environment, such as the food manufacturing sector. You will be able to form relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a strong communicator. Some experience in ERP software and SQL would be beneficial. You will ideally be a graduate with a relevant degree and hold 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
