We are currently working for a very highly regarding food business who are currently going through a period of growth. The business in question supply a host of food and fresh produce products to some of the world's leading retailers.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced machine setter (ideally with experience in packaging machinery) who has previous experience in working within a Fresh Produce, Food Manufacturing or FMCG environment. Having worked within this sector previously you will have an understanding of the need to work under pressure and within strict deadlines. This environment is fast-paced and all of the customers' orders must be met on time and with a can-do attitude.

The successful individual will be responsible for making sure that the machinery is in a safe working condition, filling out all relevant and needed check sheets at the start and end of the shift. Part of the responsibility will also be to liaise with the line leader to ensure that the line is set and accordingly to the required job and customer specifications, conducting Weigher calibration as part of this process. Part of the day to day process will include carrying out pre-production start-up checks, ensuring that all packaging or Food/Fresh Produce is removed from the machinery and make sure that all machinery is regularly cleaned and free of packaging between production runs and at the end of the shift.
