3 on 3 off days only (6am-6pm)

Job Overview
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to help keep their high-speed production facility running smoothly. In this key role, you will help ensure equipment reliability, support continuous improvement activities, and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to reduce downtime and keep production running
- Support engineering upgrades, line improvements, and optimisation projects
- Work closely with production colleagues to maintain high equipment performance
- Ensure maintenance tasks are logged and carried out in line with site quality, safety, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC, etc.)
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Strong hands-on fault-finding and problem-solving skills
