About the Job

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will report to the Group Engineering and Technical Manager. It will involve the day to day maintenance of all machinery and buildings, ensuring that all facilities and equipment comply with regulations. Further to the day to day maintenance and reactive breakdown repair work, you will work closely with the other members of the engineering team to develop improvements and PPM practices, ensuring maximum output and efficiency of all machinery. The business is open to ideas and improvements, and so if you are a keen problem solver, you will fit in perfectly into this business. They are ultimately wanting to invest in the long term when it comes to this team.

The Ideal Candidate

You must have a proven track record as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a Food, Fresh Produce or Manufacturing environment. It would be desirable to be a time-served Engineer with an ONC Qualification. It is essential that you are able to undertake all mechanical and electrical maintenance for the fast-moving machinery used by this business. Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations is a must, with an IOSH or NEBOSH cert being beneficial. An engineer who likes to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into the day to day work and ongoing projects and take this business to the heights the Senior Management want to take this business will be exactly what they are looking for.
