Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights
4 on 4 off | 6pm-6am | March, Cambridgeshire
Hands-on. High-impact. No two nights the same.

If you're the kind of engineer who gets stuck in, solves real problems, and takes pride in keeping production moving - this is a role where you'll make a difference every shift.

This is a factory that backs its engineers. The kit's improving, the processes are evolving, and there's real support to do the job properly - not just patch things up.

What's in it for you?

  • 4 on 4 off nights - predictable shift pattern and regular time off

  • Health Cash Plan - cover for dental, optical, physio and everyday healthcare

  • Discounts on major retailers, supermarkets, cinema, and more

  • Electric car and cycle to work salary sacrifice schemes

  • Life assurance and income protection

  • Training, mentoring and real opportunities to grow

  • Onsite health checks, flu jabs, and wellbeing support

  • Social events, charity partnerships and community involvement

  • A recognised Great Place to Work

What you'll be doing:

  • Fault-finding and fixing across a range of production machinery

  • Responding quickly to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance

  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and equipment installs

  • Working closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability

  • Logging work and planning through CMMS

  • Taking ownership of your area and helping raise the bar across engineering

What you'll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering

  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

  • A calm, methodical approach and a proactive attitude

  • Awareness of PUWER, LOLER, and health & safety best practice

If you want to work somewhere that trusts its engineers and invests in doing things right, this could be the shift for you.
