National Account Manager | Fresh Produce
Are you looking to progress your career in a commercial role focused on multiple retailers and customers?
You might be a National Account Exec or Commercial Exec who is doing the role of a NAM without the title and pay increase. You could be a NAM that wants more diversity in your customer base and greater potential for career progression in the future.
Our client is a leading supplier of fresh produce in a growing category. As a result of business expansion and supplying more retailers directly, they are looking for support in their commercial team. This role will report to an experienced commercial director who will be able to help mentor you to develop your career and skills in dealing with retailers.
Ideally, you will have experience in fresh produce or a fresh food category. You will be able to maintain customer relationships and get hands-on with the day-to-day account management.
There will be a fair amount of admin to do - forecasts, promotion analysis, crop planning, assignment of fruit etc. but if you're willing to get stuck into spreadsheets you'll be able to pick up loads of customer-facing experience and progress your career.
Due to the nature of the products and team, you will need to be in the office, which is a downside. This could be more flexible in the future.
