About Our Client
Our client is an international vertically integrated producer, packer, marketer and distributor of top quality fresh produce and fresh food products. It is an established business that is well known and has a great reputation for innovation and the quality of products it produces. They supply a variety of customers in the UK, including major retailers, wholesalers and foodservice sectors. They have a global reach and are focused on the future needs of their consumers. In the UK, they have a relatively lean team to deliver commercial results and great service levels.

About the Role
This role will focus on driving commercial relationships with key customers, including IPL and key wholesalers. You will utilise your experience to drive relationships and deliver commercial results by ensuring you understand customer strategies within your product areas. You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure stock is utilised effectively, whilst delivering great service and minimising waste. You will negotiate prices and supply terms with customers and form JBP's where possible.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of delivering commercial results with a major multiple in the fresh produce or fresh food sector. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to face into a major retailer and form lasting relationships. You will have a good understanding of the fresh produce supply chain and be familiar with the pace of short shelf-life products. You will be an articulate, dedicated and organised individual who possesses good commercial acumen and communication skills.

The Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a solid foundation in a commercially focused role supplying fresh produce or fresh food products. You will also be a strong communicator who can work as part of a team and possess good analytical skills.
