About Our Client:-
We are working with a highly respected food ingredients business who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced National Account Manager to manage and develop some of their key B2B / Food Manufacturing customer accounts. The business is both an importer and producer of ingredients and are therefore very flexible with their overall produce offering.
About the Job:-
You will be working with a number of food manufacturing customers who will range in size and complexity.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day interactions with these business but also to explore new opportunities for growth with them and with new customers as well.
Working closely with the Head of Department, you will be given all of the support and tools you need, including access to a range of insight in order to help you make the best decisions.
The Ideal Candidate:-
You will have a good commercial grounding, ideally with a few years experience in a National Account Manager type role, supplying into the B2B market.
A food industry background is important, but the type of food is very broad. As long as you understand the needs and pressures that food manufacturers face.
You will be able to strike the right balance between managing the customers' expectations whilst maintaining the commercial interests of the business.
