We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established nursery based in Ashford, Kent. Our client grows on over 400 acres, growing a variety of hardy and bare root plants. They also have a packhouse and cold store on site. Most of their plants are grown outdoors with a small amount grown under protection. Are you on the lookout for your next challenge?

The Role:
You will be responsible for growing and maintaining a variety of hardy and bare root plants. Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising a small team
• Pest and disease monitoring
• Supporting a grading line
• Daily crop walks
• General plant husbandry duties.

You:
We are looking for the following experience:

• You must have experience growing and working with hardy or bare root plants
• Experience in a commercial nursery environment
• Ideally, hold your PA1 and PA6 certificates
• You must be hands-on, willing to adapt and work with a team of staff to achieve your goals.
