About Our Client
We are currently recruiting for a long standing business who provide themselves on their product variety and quality. A 3rd generation family business, who have had a presence in their market for over 20 years.
About the Role
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site and operation, including departments such as Despatch, Customer Service and Stock & Suppliers. Reporting in to the Managing Director, you will ultimately be responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity and quality control.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal indvididual will come experience of a proven track record of operational management, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the internal processes. With the range of responsibility you will need to ensure that you are a strong communicator, being able to liaise and communicate with internal stakeholders, shopfloor and external suppliers/customers. You will need to have horticultural knowledge for this role, as a technical understanding/awareness of issues that may arise, is paramount (specific product knowledge, not needed).
