Do you have a supply chain/ procurement background in packaging?

I'm seeking a dynamic and strategic thinker for the role of Packaging Coordinator

As an integral part of the supply chain team, you'll have divisional responsibility for budget control, continual improvement, and supplier management in the realm of packaging, trays, PPE, and miscellaneous purchases.

What you'll be doing:

Setting and controlling packaging and tray budgets as well as creating and working with set plans in accordance with business needs. Monitoring daily waste as well as implementing CI methods to help reduce this in the future.
A large amount of the role is going to be based on the ability to communicate long-term forecasts and demands with suppliers whilst simultaneously building and solidifying lasting and beneficial relationships.

To be successful:

To be successful in this role youll need a strong ability to develop and implement Continuous Improvement strategies. Having a strong financial ability to set and adhere to packaging budgets will ensure success within your team.
An analytical mind will prove to be crucial for you to lead initiatives to minimise waste within the packaging department.
Being a strong communicator who can actively collaborate and communicate with colleagues to seek feedback from customers, colleagues and suppliers will allow for further personal development and success from within the role.

What youll need:

* A proven background in planning and packaging purchasing.
* Being proficient in setting up packaging consumption and wastage KPI data, with management experience and the ability to cover for the Supply Chain Manager when needed.
* High level of Computer literacy with Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with Dynamics Nav and Power BI is desirable
* Strong communication skills from Supplier through to Customers
