About the Role
Reporting into the Packhouse Manager, you will support the daily running of the production lines. You will be responsible for and have control over the staff, quality and efficiency of the packing operation and carry out completion of necessary checks outlined in the HHP manual. The role will include calculating labour costs and recording all production data accurately. Completion of necessary checks outlined in the HHP manual will be your responsibility and any faults in the machinery should be reported to the Packhouse Manager immediately. Ensuring safety of staff is paramount as well as being able to effectively motivate them and lead by example in order to establish high performance.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced fresh produce or food packing environment - ideally you will be confident in managing teams of people and be confident in communication. However, we are happy to look at experienced 'Operative level' candidates. The ideal candidate will also be a good motivator and will be able to take on a hand on approach to the role.
