Packhouse Line Manager | Fresh Produce

We are currently recruiting for a fresh produce company that grow and pack fruit for some of the biggest UK supermarkets.

As Packhouse Line Manager, you will oversee all production and packhouse objectives, health and safety and make sure that all documentation adhere to and are in accordance with company specifications. You will maintain production to ensure it maintains the highest possible Company Quality Standards.

You will work closely with Field Supervisors to ensure that stock requirements and labelling are met. With this in mind, you will be responsible for highlighting any potential defects as stated by product specifications. You will also complete all necessary documentation to the highest standard.

You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of production line machinery and staff to maximise the amount of product being processed.

The successful candidate will ensure the functions of the packhouse, run smoothly, ensuring all staff are fully aware and understand Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

The business is ideally looking for someone who has worked within a fresh produce packhouse previously, who has had either supervisory or management experience. They are also looking for a flexible individual, someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved wherever the business may need them throughout the busy periods of the year.
