Procurement Manager

Are you passionate about fresh produce and ready to take on a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment?

We're seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to ensure that high-quality raw materials are sourced and delivered efficiently to meet customer orders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement team.
• Manage team schedules, performance, and training.
• Ensure smooth communication across departments.
• Negotiate supplier contracts with the G&P Director.
• Develop and maintain procurement strategy.
• Drive supplier improvement and find better supply solutions.
• Monitor and explain weekly Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
• Coordinate with Growers and Technical for top-quality materials.
• Handle supplier relationships and performance management.

What do you need to be successful?

• Experience in a fast-paced procurement environment in Fresh Produce/Food.
• Proficiency with procurement tools and costing models.
• Effective communication in English (Spanish and Italian are a plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• Office Based role in Chichester. Potential to be hybrid, but will be on-site for the majority.
• Occasional travel across UK & Portugal Sites

Salary

£55,000 - £65,000pa
