The business is looking for an established operational manager with experience within pork or beef production to join their site near Bedford where they supply foodservice and retail customers.

About you

You will have experience managing a team within a raw meat setting, preferably Beef but Pork is also of interest. You will have extensive knowledge of the processes involved and be a strong people manager with experience overseeing teams of over 200 people. You will have had a customer facing aspect in previous roles and be comfortable not only on the shop floor but beyond.

• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensuring that Quality, Health and Safety and other Company policies are adhered to and liaising with relevant departments to ensure issues are resolved
• Maintaining good employee relations and promoting equality of opportunity.
