Purchase and Sales Ledger Professional

Our client in the food manufacturing sector is currently seeking an experienced Purchase and Sales Ledger professional for a Fixed-Term Contract role until March 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and support essential business processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Purchase Ledger Management: Handle all aspects of the purchase ledger, including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Sales Ledger Management: Oversee the sales ledger, ensuring accurate invoicing, credit control, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, to manage and analyse financial data effectively.
  • Data Input and Transfer: Accurately input and transfer data, maintaining high attention to detail to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in streamlining and automating manual processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required

  • Proven experience in purchase and sales ledger management.
  • Advanced Excel skills, particularly in using pivot tables and lookups.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Location

Ashford, Kent

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, Fixed-Term Contract until March 2025
