QA Inspector - Full time Permanent - Fresh Produce - Kent

Salary £19,000 - £22, 000 DOE

My client is a well-established importer and packer of fresh produce and is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast past fresh produce environment, preferably with citrus or grapes.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting on the quality of a vast range of fresh produce, so being able to work quickly and accurately under pressure is crucial to this role.

The Job:

As QI you will monitor quality of all product coming through the facility.

Collect shelf life samples as required.

Report all quality and packing issues to team leaders.

Ensure reports are completed accurately and on time.

Complete all necessary paperwork to comply with customer and BRC requirements.

Ensure products meet customer specifications.

The Candidate:

Previous experience within QA / QC role within fresh produce.

Able to demonstrate that you can work under pressure.

Ability to work shifts with a flexible approach to work.

Ability to make decisions.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good IT skills

42.5 hours a week with shifts starting between 6am and 2pm. Weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
