Our client is a leading fresh produce supplier into the retail sector. They have an exceptional working environment where you will be made to feel like part of the family.

The Role

Day to day responsibility for the quality of all the client's products arriving and being despatched from the Spalding site.

Daily duties will involve:

Quality check of all final packed products and non B2B customer products

Intake assessments on raw materials arriving on site

Collection and logging on of Micro samples based on the micro schedule

Collection of shelf samples for storage over life

Daily assessments of the shelf life samples based on customer specifications

Gas testing, cook tests, photos for evidence of any defects and daily reports on quality

Assessments on NPD and trial products

Keeping a record of waste

Assist commercial team with stock queries when required.

The Candidate

As QA /QC you should have strong analytical skills

The ability to communicate face to face and by email with multi-cultural suppliers and colleagues

A positive can-do attitude

Good sense of humour

Good understanding of fresh produce

Flexible approach to working shifts
