About our Client

Our client is a specialist grower, focusing on crops to support restoration projects across the UK. They invest in state-of-the-art glasshouses and focus on sustainability. As well as growing crops on a commercial scale, our client also runs both internal and external trials, and due to continued growth, we are now looking to fill this brand-new role.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the MD to manage existing trials, monitor trial sites and develop trial strategies. You will be developing and submitting new project proposals, and then managing these accordingly. You will prepare reports for external stakeholders and look into continuous improvement as the role develops.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone with an agricultural background that has exposure to intensive field growing, but we are open on what crop this might be. An understanding of the trials process is important, as you will be taking over the management of the current trials whilst also developing new ones. Communication is essential, as you will regularly be dealing with the team around you and external stakeholders.
