About the Company
We are working with an established family owned services business who have been supporting the Food industry for the last 15+ years. They have reached a point in their overall development where they need to make some marked changes to the running of the company to allow the MD to focus on the right things. As such, they are looking to appoint a Sales Director to help drive the company's growth strategies.

About the Role
You will take responsibility for the sales team and ensure you motivate them to achieve improved results. Working with the MD, you will be devising and applying the growth strategy for the business and ensuring the processes are in place to achieve it. You will be working with a broad range of food businesses and will have a good eye for ways to improve returns.

The Ideal Candidate
You will ideally have experience in some Food industry. This could be Fresh Produce, Chilled, Ambient or Frozen. You will need to have senior Commercial experience and know how to get the most out a sales team. The role will be office based mainly, in order to better influence and develop the business culture. You will need to be comfortable with account management and have the gravitas to open doors for new business as well.
