Sales Manager | Home-based | Potato sector

We are working closely with an established business who are heavily involved in the potato sector. They are on the look out for a Sales Manager to cover the Southern half of the UK, ranging from Yorkshire to Cornwall. You will therefore need to be happy with travelling and be able to prioritise your time effectively.

The Role:-
You will be at the forefront of the businesses sales drive and will be targeted on approaching and selling to a number of key growers and processors around the country.
You will be one of the main points of contact and will be supported by a number of individuals who have in depth product knowledge.
There is a real change happening in the market current so a huge opportunity to capitalise on for the right people.

The Candidate:-
You will need to have a good knowledge of the potato sector, including how to store them. Sales is clearly the main function of this role but relationships are going to be crucial.
This is a home-based role, but living in the East Midlands would be an advantage. Either way, this role will involve a lot of UK travel and potentially abroad as well.
Communication is paramount. There are a number of stakeholders both in the UK and Holland, so keeping informed and in touch is vital.
