About Our Client
Our client is a leading supplier to both B2B and B2C channels. They grow the majority of their products and they have a big focus on the quality of products that they sell over quantity. The supply a range of customers, including landscapers, property developers, professional gardeners and B2C. They have doubled in size over the past five years and their ambition is to double again over the next five years - your remit will be to help them ensure they deliver on this. They are an established business with a close-knit team who work together to get the job done for their customers.

About the Role
This role will lead sales and it will be your remit to gain business across all customer channels. You will utilise your sales and account management skills to build relationships with new and existing customers. You will be able to negotiate with customers and ensure that orders are processed and delivered within agreed timescales to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be able to learn about the product offering quickly and hit the ground running to ensure targets are met. You will take full ownership of incoming enquiries to price, follow up and negotiate on sales to maximise results and ensure no sales opportunities fall through the cracks.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in selling into multiple channels within the horticultural sector - B2C, landscapers, professional gardeners and the public. You will be an enthusiastic and driven individual who is organised and able to ensure that no commercial opportunity is overlooked. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to grow an account base - our client is looking to maintain their growth and double the size of their business after all. You will be able to help guide private individuals through the product offering and ensure you offer them the best solution to their needs. Equally, you will be able to deal with professionals within the horti sector to build lasting relationships.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a proven commercial track record across multiple customer channels. You will need to be able to adapt your approach to selling depending on the customer and their requirements. You will be able to prioritise tasks and ensure all sales enquiries and leads are followed up quickly and efficiently. You will also be able to hunt for new business opportunities. Horticulture experience is not a must, but interest in the sector, products and the customer base will be. You will need to be able to deal with internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries and organised and dispatched and ensure all administration behind sales in completed. You will need to be able to travel to the office on a daily basis for business hours - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, with the flexibility to work a little longer if/when required.

Salary
~£35-40k DOE
