We are working with a leading agricultural business specializing in the production of high-quality berries.

They are searching for a Salesperson to join the team and play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring smooth operations.

You will be responsible for representing the business at farmers' markets and promoting products directly to customers. This position will involve weekend work due to the farmers' markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and orders.
• Coordinate sales activities, including order processing, delivery scheduling, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports for the sales team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks and customer service.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback to the sales team.
• Set up and manage stalls at farmers' markets, ensuring a professional and attractive presentation.
• Handle direct sales and customer inquiries at farmers' markets, providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have one or more of the following:

• Degree in Agriculture, Food, or a related field.
• Experience in the agricultural or produce industry.
• Experience working at farmers' markets or in a similar direct-to-customer sales environment.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and positive attitude.
