Seasonal Plant Supervisor - Plymouth

Salary: Dependant on experience

Are you passionate about plants, enjoy creating attractive displays, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong plant knowledge, a hands-on approach, and a professional yet approachable manner to support and lead our plant area team. Join a thriving garden centre known for quality, growth, and a genuine passion for horticulture.

Your Role:

As Seasonal Plant Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant department. From managing stock and designing appealing displays to assisting customers and maintaining high retail standards, you will be actively involved every day. You will also cover for the Department Manager during their absence, helping to organise tasks and keep the team focused.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for plants and gardening, combined with a friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

  • Creativity and attention to detail to create attractive, easy-to-navigate displays that enhance the shopping experience.

  • Strong stock management skills, including ordering, monitoring sales, and managing slow-moving items.

  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, offering advice and practical support such as carry-to-car assistance.

  • A supportive team player who can organise daily tasks, communicate effectively, and take on leadership responsibilities when needed.

Why Join Us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and expanding garden centre group where your contributions will be valued and rewarded.

You will be part of a welcoming, plant-focused team in a varied and rewarding role with plenty of potential for growth and development.

If you're eager to develop your skills, take on new responsibilities, and make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
