Section Manager | Fresh Produce

We are currently helping recruit for an experienced Section Manager to join a very well-established fresh produce business in the Norfolk/Suffolk area who produce over 25,000 tonnes of onions each year to the supermarket, wholesale and manufacturing sectors.

The business has recently invested heavily in new high tech grading systems to maximise and optimise their current production and so are looking for someone to take the reins and drive this new system forward.

They are looking for someone who possesses a good standard of computer literacy with very high attention to detail, who can integrate well into their current team.

If successful you will be responsible for "driving" the line, ensuring that quality and safety are in accordance with site policies and procedures. You will ensure that product continually moves throughout the process, from intake to despatch. Throughout this you will be required to visually inspect and select product, in accordance with quality and food safety requirements whilst also being able to start and stop lines, where necessary.
