Senior Horticulturalist | Bristol

We are excited to be working with an innovative herb farm that is now looking for a senior horticulturalist to join their team.

About our Client

Our client is a small, but busy team currently growing over 600 varieties of herbs. They sell online and to the local public and run a variety of exciting events including masterclasses, open days, and herb experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for some to support the management of the production of herbs. You will be working closely with the owners and managing a small team to ensure the highest quality plants are grown, from seed to sale. You will be overseeing propagation, monitoring for pests and diseases and general crop husbandry tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have worked in a commercial nursery environment, although working with herbs is not essential. The ideal candidate will have the enthusiasm to learn about all things herb-related, and ideally, be qualified to RHS Level 3 or equivalent. Communication is an important aspect of the role; you will be leading a small team and speaking to the public on a regular basis.
