About our Client
We are excited to be working with an award-winning online gardening business that has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years. They offer a wide range of seeds, seedlings, plants, and gardening and floristry kits. They are now looking for a senior merchandiser to join their team.

About the Role
As a senior merchandiser, you will be responsible for leading a team, with the goal of achieving strong availability through accurate forecasting. You will work with buyers, despatch, and the office team around you to ensure stock levels are correctly maintained and despatch is quick and efficient. You will use your forecasting skills to minimise product waste, source required stock and running promotional activities.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have previous experience in a merchandising role, and ideally with a strong forecasting background. You will have strong attention to detail and have advanced knowledge of excel. Ideally, you will have worked in horticulture before, although this is not essential. The role is initially a 1-year maternity cover, however, due to continued growth within the business, there is a potential opportunity to be made permanent.
