About Our Client
We are currently working with a very highly regarded Fresh Produce grower and importer who, as a result of internal changes, are looking to appoint a Senior Sourcing Manager to their team. As a leader in their field, they have a long standing history of delivering great results to a number of Major Retailers and a strong procurement strategy is crucial to this success.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be jointly responsible for setting and delivering the procurement strategy for the group. You will oversee the Procurement team and ensure they have the resources they need to do an effective job. You will be the Senior contact for your supplies and will get involved in the higher level discussion as they happen through the year.

The Ideal Candidate
Given the senior nature of this position, you will need to have at least 7 years experience in Fresh Produce procurement and at least 3 years having managed a team of Buyers / Assistants. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be working to very tight service levels and you will need to ensure these are maintained throughout the year. Strong communication and team building skills go without saying.
