About Our Client
Our client is leading supplier of fresh produce into the UK retailers. They have invested in their business and facilities to be able to produce the best quality products for their customers. The business and team is very focused on their customers and the quality of their products.
About the Job
Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining an effective Quality Management System across all sites ensuring compliance and best practice in terms of quality systems, food safety and health and safety. Full responsibility for compliance with all required certifications including; BRC, ETI (ethical), FT (fair trade) and Soil Association (organic). To ensure customers technical requirements are fulfilled at all times. Managing internal audit system, managing and maintaining up to date technical risk assessments (raw material, allergens, segregations and integrity etc.)

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a Technical Manager within a fresh produce business. You will have experience of being in a customer-facing role with a retailer. You will have a proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes within a business. You will build good working relationships internal and external.
