An opportunity to travel the world working in the fresh produce industry is here for you.

Do you have a great understanding of fruit/fresh produce supply chains and want to propel your technical career most excitingly?

Do you need to escape the miserable weather and vibe of the UK with your next job?

I already want to apply for this role.

What's in it for you?

With the director being your only point of report, you will be able to communicate regularly with the senior decision-makers in the company while the growth continues.

You'll be leading a Technical Team that will be representing the company across the entire globe, you'll have exciting responsibilities working closely with customers, suppliers, and retailers, as opposed to getting your hands dirty.

With a discretional company bonus available, with the potential to progress in your career; there are various incentives to look towards when feeling like you may deserve more out of your expertise.

Did I mention hybrid working whilst in the UK too? 3 days on-site, 2 days from home, enabling that great work/life balance you're chasing.

Who would you be working for?

The company in question is the top supplier in the country for their product of choice.

Working with all major retailers, including M&S and Tesco, you will have the opportunity to maintain and build relationships with some very important accounts.

By monitoring where the chosen product comes from, you can look to instate the company's values and standards by assessing where the best suppliers are, so the customer requirements are always met and exceeded. Theoretically, you pick what's on the shelves.

The company prides itself on having copious amounts of knowledge across all teams about producing the best quality product most sustainably, and they are willing to help educate those who are self-aware enough to know if it's needed.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will need at least 5 years of experience working with fresh produce. At least a yea's management experience.

Your understanding of supply chains, with aspects of procurement, will be extremely beneficial.

A relevant degree is desirable, but even without that, you could be perfect for this role.

Retailer and customer/client relationship experience will be essential for you to be effective at this role.

High levels of initiative and communication skills will make this job easy for you too.
