Are you looking for your first step into the world of Automated Engineering and Manufacturing??? Our client is one of the world's biggest names in Automated Manufacturing and are looking for enthusiastic people to train as a Regional Service Engineer.

As part of your training you will be taught how to fault find and repair on their full range of automated machines, how to interrogate control systems, how perform calibrations and set ups, plus how to install and commission new machines.

As a Trainee Engineer you will also be shadowing one of their Senior Engineers in the field, plus working in the workshop stripping and building machines from scratch to learn how the different machines are put together and work.

After your training is complete you will be visiting customer's sites performing routine services and attending breakdowns on machinery across the Midlands.

But it doesn't stop there….

Once trained, you can elect to become a Technical Specialist and undertake further training to become an expert on a specific machine set and moving up to Senior Engineer.

What the business is looking for…

  • Must have worked on some sort of machinery in a formal setting.
  • Have some form of electrical or mechanical qualification as a basis.
  • MUST be willing to learn!
  • Must be willing to travel and stay away when required.

Thanks to the business' tried and tested onboarding and training process, they are open to candidate from a very wide range of industries. They are also keen to speak to candidates who have recently finished an engineering qualification at college, through an apprenticeship, or candidates you have recently left the Armed Forces.
