Role - Service Engineer
Location - Leicester, Coventry, Derby, Rugby, Northampton
Salary - £28,000, plus overtime (x1.33), OTE £32k, plus company Van
Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 - 5:30) No Weekends

Specialising in the specialist Weighing Equipment for the Food, Automated Logistics and Manufacturing sector, the business supply a wide array of standalone and fully integrated weighing systems. From table top weighing systems, to fully integrated conveyor based systems for weighing products during production and packaging process.
The business supply their systems across the world and are a key supplier to major food manufacturers and Automated Logistics businesses like Amazon and TNT. With Service Engineers across the UK, they are operate a Regional based Service setup so as to be able to react to breakdowns quickly and minimise downtime for their clients. As such they are now looking an additional Service Engineer to cover Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire.
The Service Engineer will be responsible for:
- Attending breakdowns at customer's sites.
- Fault finding and repairing on a variety of weighing systems, on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Installing and Commissioning new equipment.
- Performing calibrations on weighing systems on site.
Ideally you will need to be located in the Central Midlands as the role is covering Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, with the idea being all their Service Engineers are within 2 hours of their given customer base. This means that there will be very few to no nights away required.
The Service Engineers operate on a call out basis for breakdowns Monday to Friday (no weekends). This can mean Engineers working outside of their contracted hours, however any hours completed outside of 8:30 to 5:30 are paid at overtime rate.
The business will provide full product training on their machinery and systems, but are looking for the following experience as a starter:
- Electrical, Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineering Qualification
- Experience working on weighing systems.
- Experience servicing, installing and commissioning electromechanical equipment
