Our client is a manufacturer of a variety of value-added fresh food products who supply the major retailers, foodservice and food-to-go sectors. The business works closely with its customers to create the best tasting products of the highest quality.

About the Job

They are looking for a Production Shift Manager to support and assist the senior management team; ensuring the production is running efficiently, delivering against daily targets. You will be responsible for leading and coaching your team, delivering against the business plan and promoting and encouraging values. You will assist the senior team to achieve KPI's / goal requirements and provide a communication route for the day-to-day operations to the Operations Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

To be a successful candidate, you will be a strong people manager coming from either the fresh produce supply chain or food manufacturing sectors. This is a new site with some very exciting technology so anyone with good experience of automation would be welcome to apply. Our client is happy to look at either candidate currently at the Supervisor level looking to take a step up or experienced Managers. It goes without saying, you will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to plan and manage your workload accordingly.
