Shift Mechanical Fitter

We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest industrial chemical manufacturers, supplying multiple industries. Established for over 100 years, this multiple million-pound business are experiencing an exceptional period of growth and are looking to add a new Mechanical Fitter!

The role is working 2 days (6am-6pm), 2 nights (6pm-6am) then 4 off and provides 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays). The company are happy to invest in their staff and will provide internal and external training where necessary.

The role's day to day will be,

• Mechanical Preventative and Reactive Maintenance.
• Working with Gearboxes, Pumps, Mechanical Seals, Pipework.
• Mechanical Plant Installation work.
• Operation of a Boiler, Waste Solvent Incineration and Emissions Abatement Plant.
• Pressure Testing and Commissioning work.

A Level 3 or above apprenticeship is preferred however a hands-on qualification such as a City & Guilds (Level 3), HNC or HND is great too!
