About our Client

They are a second-generation, family-run business that has grown to be one of the UK's leading fruit growers. They grow fruit at their site, but also important exotic fruit from abroad. They have specialist plant breeders and use the latest growing techniques and technology to drive an environmentally friendly approach to growing.

About the Role

In this role, you will get an overview of the whole of the farming operation, from seed through to harvest. You will be able to learn and develop knowledge in agronomy, irrigation, and harvest, as well as other key aspects of the growing operation.

The Ideal Candidate

This exciting role can be moulded around your skillset and career ambitions. This role will see you working closely in a team, so communication skills are essential. A passion for the industry is essential, as this business is invested in training you and helping you develop a long-term career. Ideally, you will have a qualification in horticulture, agriculture or a related subject.
