Job description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in operations and supply chain?
Join a leading fresh produce business with a reputation for quality, collaboration, and growth. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual, whether you're a recent graduate or early in your career, to develop hands-on experience and play a key role in keeping supply chain operations running smoothly.
The Role
As part of the supply chain team, you'll play an important role in keeping everything moving, from organising transport to managing key admin processes that help products get from growers to customers smoothly. It's a hands-on position where you'll learn the ins and outs of logistics, finance, and supplier coordination.
You'll get involved in things like:
Helping to plan and confirm daily transport and delivery schedules
Making sure all the right paperwork and delivery details are in order
Processing and checking invoices to keep everything accurate and up to date
Following up on any delivery issues or claims to make sure they're resolved quickly
Coordinating product returns and keeping clear records of what's been agreed
Keeping track of documentation such as Proofs of Delivery and transport bookings
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day admin and reporting
This is a varied role that gives you the chance to get involved in every part of the supply chain process, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, staying organised, and working as part of a busy, supportive team.
What's In It For You
✅ Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000
✅ 25 days holiday + bank holidays
✅ 5% pension contribution
✅ Flexible start and finish times (typically 7-9am start, 4-5pm finish)
✅ Supportive, team-focused culture with opportunities to learn and grow
About You
This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude. Whether you're a recent graduate, have completed your A Levels, or already have some experience in fresh produce or logistics administration, this is your chance to build a long-term career in a thriving, fast-moving sector.
If you're motivated, curious, and ready to learn, this fresh produce business will give you the support and training to develop your skills and make the role your own.
