A rare opportunity to shape the future of sustainability in a leading food manufacturing business.
We're looking for a Sustainability and Environmental Manager to join our client and lead the charge in developing and delivering a group-wide sustainability strategy. This role will give you the autonomy and influence to build something meaningful from the ground up.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving projects in energy efficiency, solar, waste heat recovery, sustainable packaging, and wider environmental performance.
- Working closely with the senior leadership to embed sustainability into the business strategy.
- Managing relationships with key customers and partners, including alignment with sustainability frameworks.
- Preparing and delivering reports and presentations at Board level, demonstrating progress and opportunities.
- Building engagement across teams to create a culture that champions environmental responsibility.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a sustainability, environmental or energy management role - ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of carbon management, energy efficiency, and supply chain sustainability.
- Excellent communication skills - able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders, while engaging and inspiring teams at all levels.
- An individual with gravitas and confidence who can influence change and has a good sense of humour.
