About Our Client
We are working with one of the UK's largest family-owned suppliers of exotic and conventional fresh fruit, vegetables and salads.
About the Job
Maintaining control of all aspects of supply base due diligence.
Preparing customer approvals for technical account managers.
Communicating all changes with all departments to ensure all relevant people are aware.
Tracking and trending the company's KPI's and those of our suppliers.
Maintaining product specifications/date codes up to date to ensure that operations and QA teams are working with the correct and accurate information.
The Ideal Candidate
This will suit an up-and-coming Technical Assistant looking for a new challenge working within fresh produce or a QA/QC looking to step up.
Knowledge of fresh produce would be an advantage but isn't a must have
Planning and organisational skills
Good attention to detail
Good IT skills
Work to agreed shift pattern including weekends where applicable
