We're looking for a capable Till & Customer Service Manager to lead our front of house team at our large Preston Garden Centre.

As part of a leading Garden Centre Group, this role offers genuine scope for development and progression within a successful, growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a large front of house team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective team coordination
  • Oversee cash handling, financial reporting, and back-office procedures
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve high performance and engagement
  • Work closely with senior management to support wider business goals and customer experience standards

Ideal Qualities

  • Proven leadership experience in a busy retail or customer service environment
  • Strong financial and operational understanding, with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, proactive, and confident in managing both people and process
  • Hands on approach with the ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards and motivating others to do the same
