We're looking for a capable Till & Customer Service Manager to lead our front of house team at our large Preston Garden Centre.
As part of a leading Garden Centre Group, this role offers genuine scope for development and progression within a successful, growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a large front of house team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective team coordination
- Oversee cash handling, financial reporting, and back-office procedures
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve high performance and engagement
- Work closely with senior management to support wider business goals and customer experience standards
Ideal Qualities
- Proven leadership experience in a busy retail or customer service environment
- Strong financial and operational understanding, with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive, and confident in managing both people and process
- Hands on approach with the ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
- Passionate about maintaining high standards and motivating others to do the same
