£DOE plus house

Have you always thought about being at the forefront of a brand-new project?

Dreamed of supporting a brand-new nursery, but never had the chance? This is your chance. This business has just set up a brand-new nursery and they want you to support.

They need you. Someone that is passionate to develop a career, has an understanding of growing crops and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

What's in it for you?

  • An attractive salary, a great house in a coastal location.
  • Genuine opportunity for career progression with the tree nursery being in its infancy.
  • New industry qualifications supported by your new employer.
  • Real variety in the job with the business being so diverse.

What's the Role?

Anyone in a hand on agricultural or horticultural position at present will know what's involved.

Planting. Operating machinery. Managing a small team. Managing crop protection plans. Managing the process from planting through to dispatch.

You'll be working closely with the owner of the business, which means you'll have a wealth of knowledge, passion, and energy to learn from.

The business is also passionate about sustainability schemes, which you will get to play a part of. This could be managing new projects or managing current projects.

What do I need?

To do this role, you'll need to understand growing crops on a commercial level. This could be farming, forestry or horticultural. Either way we want to hear from you.

You'll understand how to operate machinery and might already have your PA1 and PA6.

The most important things are a drive to develop your career and share your opinions, an enthusiasm to learn and get stuck in, and an interest in growing sustainably.

Who's it for?

This diverse business are experts in growing arable and fresh produce.

They're continually investing, trying new ideas and producing methods to diversify the business.

They are currently growing over 1.5 million trees, and their produce is ending up on supermarket shelves.

They also get involved in environmental schemes and are working hard to use less chemicals and put soil health first.
