Wholesale General Manager | Fresh Produce | Bristol
Salary: Circa £65k + Car Allowance + Bonus
Hours: 5 days from Monday to Saturday (Early Morning Starts required)

Are you an experienced and commercially savvy leader looking for your next challenge in the fresh produce or FMCG space? One of the UK's leading produce businesses is on the lookout for a General Manager to take the reins at a key wholesale site in Bristol.

The Role

You'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of the site. Leading a skilled management team, you'll be tasked with growing profitable sales, hitting budgeted targets, and embedding a culture of excellence throughout the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

* Full P&L accountability and performance management
* Building budgets and leading the team to exceed financial targets
* Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
* Overseeing procurement, sales, and distribution functions
* Driving commercial trading, monitoring market trends, and staying one step ahead of competitors
* Ensuring full compliance with H&S, HR, and financial policies

About You:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a general management role, ideally within FMCG or fresh produce
* Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams
* Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capability
* Excellent communication and leadership skills - able to inspire, influence, and deliver under pressure
* Competent with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
