MorePeople at Fruit Attraction 2025 – Bigger, Busier, and Brighter than Ever
This month, the MorePeople team headed to Madrid for Fruit Attraction 2025 — and what a show it was! Every year, the event seems to grow in scale and energy, and this year was no exception.
A Bigger Stage for Fresh Produce
With two new halls added, the exhibition felt bigger and busier than ever. The show continues to cement its place as one of the must-attend events in the global fresh produce calendar, bringing together thousands of businesses, innovations, and industry leaders.
While it doesn’t quite match the sheer size of Fruit Logistica in Berlin just yet, Fruit Attraction offers something special — perhaps it’s the Madrid sunshine, which makes every meeting feel that bit more upbeat than Berlin’s February chill!
This year, we mixed things up and focused our time on days two and three of the show rather than the opening days. It proved to be a smart move - the pace felt more focused, and we managed to meet a lot of the people we’d planned to see.
There were plenty of productive meetings and catch-ups, and as always, the social side of the event didn’t disappoint. By day three, it was clear that a few attendees were feeling the effects of Madrid’s lively nightlife… You know who you are!
All in all, it was another fantastic few days of networking, insights, and connections. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us - we’re already looking forward to next year’s edition (and another dose of Spanish sunshine).
First Impressions from the Team
For Jordan, who’s been recruiting in the food industry for four years, this was his first truly produce-focused event - and it left quite the impression:
“I’ve been to plenty of food shows, but Fruit Attraction was on another level. The scale was incredible - businesses from across Europe and beyond, all under one roof. It really hit home how vast and interconnected the global produce industry is.”
“You can achieve in a couple of days what might otherwise take months — meeting clients, putting faces to names. There’s something refreshing about connecting outside the usual office context. It’s productive, but also enjoyable. You remember that business is still about people.”
One of the standout aspects for Jordan was the level of innovation on display:
“From breeding technology to cutting-edge machinery, it’s clear the produce sector is investing in its future. It’s inspiring to see firsthand - especially when recruiting into a sector that’s evolving so quickly.”
Looking Ahead
Fruit Attraction 2025 was a clear reminder of why we love working in this industry — the people, the innovation, and the passion that drive it forward.
Until next year, Madrid! 🌞
