Assistant Farm Manager | Cambridgeshire

We are working with an impressive farm business who are looking for an Arable Assistant Farm Manager to join their team. Have you got previous management experience in a similar environment and looking to move on to your next challenge?

This well-established business farm on land amounting to 10,000 acres, farming root vegetables and arable crops. They are a world-class supplier of fresh produce, supplying to supermarkets, wholesale and processing sectors. They are focused on environmentally responsible farming and biodiversity within their farming practice.

This role will be managing a farm of 3,500 acres, growing cereals, potatoes and onions. We are looking for someone with proven experience in leading, motivating and managing teams.

You will be confident leading by example, with a hands-on approach to the role. You will have worked in at a similar level previously, with arable and / or root veg crops. You'll be willing to learn, adapt and support the business as they grow. You will be a confident communicator, running a team, liaising with agronomists and speaking to customers too.
