Broiler Manager | Poultry

We are working with a large and well renowned poultry producer who is looking to add a Broiler Manager to their team to oversee one of their most important sites in Northern Ireland. This role will be managing a broiler complex, responsible for area managers and reporting directly to the Liver Operations Manager.

The Job:
In this role you will be responsible for the supervision of all the broiler farms across the site and ensuring that the operations are in keeping with the vision of the agricultural sector of the business. As this role is relatively senior you will be looking after the Regional Management team in their farming practises and ensuring every site is running smoothly. This will involve trying to get every shed to perform to their full potential and achieve the best scores across the site whether that is via education, training or investigating potential areas that can be improved.
You will also take responsibility for the financial budget and profitability of the sites across the complex ensuring that everything is in line and where it should be along with responsibility for veterinary and nutritional consultants cross site.

The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

A proven track record of middle management dealing with both a senior report and direct reports in a poultry agriculture role. Ideally this will be over 5 years' experience in poultry.
Ideally you will have experience working within a larger farming organisation but also work with independent growers also.
Leadership skills are essential and the ability to communicate at all levels will be paramount to ensuring all teams understand what you would like them to put in place and why.
Excellent numeracy, communication and relationship building skills will be essential.
Degree level qualification is desirable but not essential.
