About Our Client

We are working with a leading packer of fresh produce who are looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Officer to join the team based in Spalding

About the Job

Supporting the CSR Manager in the development of their long-term Ethical & Sustainability strategy, and lead on the delivery of defined projects, you will conduct and maintain ethical risk assessments for new and approved suppliers.

Build and develop positive relationships with key suppliers and arrange strategic reviews to assess supplier performance throughout the year.

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have a degree background and/or have had some experience working within a fresh produce technical team. Strong knowledge of SEDEX, SMETA, SIZA, ETI BASE CODE and LEAF are required for this role.

You will have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal and be proficient in excel. You will be pro-active and engaged with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will need a full driving licence and car and be able to travel in the UK or abroad.

This could also be a great role for someone who is just graduating and did a technical placement within their degree.
