Our client is a very credible, well-established business, who supply household named products into the UK Supermarkets.

About the Job

You will be responsible for the leadership, development, and planning of the engineering department covering not only the production area but also all other facilities management. People development and management is key to the role, as well as championing best practice, maintenance planning, and project management. It is key to the role that you are able to not only manage the day to day but also think strategically about operational improvements. Working closely with the leaders of the business to proactively look at ways of increasing productivity and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful with this role, you will have a proven track record as an Engineering Manager with broad engineering, project and people management expertise. You will also be a passionate and enthusiastic team player. It is essential that you have strong skills in managing people, scheduling work, and budget control within the business.
