Do you have fresh produce experience? Know about quality control? Are you looking for a new challenge? A commercial grower-packer of soft and top fruit is looking for a Field Supervisor to join their successful and profitable business.

The Business:
Our client is a successful grower-packer of strawberries, apples and a small number of other crops. Growing both indoor and outdoor, they pack on-site and supply to retailers.

The Job:
This busy farm requires a motivated, people person to support them. You'll be one of four supervisors, reporting into the Farm Manager. You'll be responsible for a team of staff, looking after all tasks from planting to harvest. You would be responsible for ensuring all picking is done to the correct quality, products are sent to the packhouse efficiently and ensuring all paperwork and traceability is done to the highest of standards.

You:
You will be an excellent communicator and have previous experience of running and managing a team. You'll be a team player, willing to get involved in anything required on the farm. You'll be confident in aspects of quality control, and ensuring all paperwork is kept fully compliant. You'll have previous crop experience in fresh produce or non-combinables, but our client is happy to train you on areas you've not previously worked in.
People management skills are essential, and the ability to speak Romanian/Bulgarian would be advantageous.
